hey all, just wanted to say how happy we all are about your responses to the new record and this last tour. we juat got home last week and are spending much needed time with our friends and family. keep and eye out for us this summer for we'll be back to touring like mad men. scince we made the record last year we havent been writing to much and now that were home we have been writing like crazy and cant wait to get all the new material recorded and in your hands. thank you all for coming out to the shows and getting our new record and for all the kind words you send us. you are our inspiration........thx jared / fivespeed

Hey Everyone. We are at home practicing and preparing for our tour in FEb. with Ten Years. Everyone enjoyed some much needed time with family, but now its back to the touring marathon of '06.

I also want to remind everyone that we are accepting people for the FiveSpeed friends team and need all the help we can get. With the record about to drop, promoting ourselves has never been more important. So, we have started an informal street team of sorts that has taken off quite nicely. If you would like to help us out with that please get a hold of us and let us know at fivespeedfriends@yahoo.com

A quick update from home...

We are home for the holidays and are enjoying this short time that we have off before the touring marathon begins Feb. 3rd with the band Ten Years. We should have tour dates available soon so keep in touch.

If you have time, be sure to request us on your local rock / alternative station...it helps out so much when it comes to airplay.

Also we are finally on the virginrecords.com website, and featured as one of the main artists. It is one of the most incredible, most sureal things I've ever seen.

We want everyone out there to have an awesome Christmas (even if you don't celebrate it...lol) and be safe.

hey all, so we just got home today at about 3 phoenix time. we left nashville at 11 in the morning yesterday and i dont know but the guys said we broke some world record in time. all i know is that i couldent sleep in that trash can . we want to thank all the people who came out to see us in Johnson city TN , we had a great time with you that night, eventhough joe sharked us out of our money in pool...we still love you. so for the next two weeks were going to be spending time with our families for the holidays but keep an eye out on fivespeedmusic.com and our myspace page for new tour updates. we know we'll be out starting after the first week of jan , but we just dont know what yet. as soon as we know we'll post it up there for ya. thx and have a safe holiday....we'll see you next year! jared

Another Amazing Show...

These shows with Cold and P.o.D have been out of control! We have had a blast hanging out with all our new friends.

The response to our Equal Vision EP 'Bella', has been great. We want to thank all those who have responded via email or myspace and gave us your compliments.

Milwaukee rocked last night, and we are looking forward to Cedar Rapids tonight. I hope it gets a little warmer...last night when I came off stage and started to load my drums in the trailer, my sweat turned to crushed ice and I thought I was going to freeze to death.LOL. Wisconsin is freakin' cold!!

Sorry Traverse City

We just wanted to send a big, big appology to Cold, and to all of the fans in Traverse City MI. for not making the Wed. night show. After snow started to fall half way through our travels from Cleveland Oh., the roads started to ice, and you could not even see the road way. When we got about 50 miles out of Traverse City, we could no longer safely drive the van and trailer. So we just wanted to say that we are very sorry, and we will make it up to anyone that might have come to see us last night.

hey everyone, tonight we are bedded down in a small town called belle, it's brads hometown in west virgina. and his wonderful family has prepaired an eairly thanksgiving diner for us. so woooo hoooo!! turkey! we will see you in ohio tomorrow. jared oh ya... and a huge thanks go out to Charlotte NC and Tallahassee FL for showing us the best time on this tour yet, we'll see you all again real soon. thx

hey everyone, just wanted to say that were finally being played in our hometown of phoenix, so thx to everyone who showed their support and called in to request 'the mess'. the tour has been going great, just picked up our new soundguy and friend ( fuzzy matt) from japan yesterbay. he brought back a bottle of santory time ( lost in translation wiskey). so last night was drinkin, smokin, pocker night. and yes... yours truly was thy victor.......jared

Hello all you Fivespeedaz out there,

You have caught us at a really exciting time.
Lately we have been experiencing many Firsts.
While I type up our Fist Blog entry we just finished shooting our First Video for our First single “The Mess”.

Shooting the video was a lot of fun& I can’t say it enough … It really Rocks!!
I know what you’re thinking every band gets excited about their First video, and I might even be suffering a bit from this Video Virgin Syndrome, but the end product is truly cutting edge.
Keep an eye out for it you won’t be disappointed.
I don’t want to ruin the surprise, but here's a hint of what to expect… Pumpkins and none of that cheesy boy breaks up with girl stuff.
Right now we are on our way to Wisconsin for the Saliva/Cold Tour.
And even though this isn’t a first for us we like to give our fans the same excitement and energy we had from day one.
So if we’re in your neighborhood come out and say hi.
We’d love to get to know you.
Maybe buy us our “First” drink?
